How it works: six steps, one coordinator
A pet move is won in the preparation: the order of the vet procedures and how long each document stays valid. Here is how we work, and what we will ask of you at each step.
The steps
-
Your request A few minutes, through the quote form.
Route, preferred date, your pet's species, breed, age and weight, and the documents you already have (passport, vaccination record).
-
Feasibility check Before you commit to anything.
We check the rules of the departure country, the destination and any layovers, plus the airlines' conditions for your pet. If there is an obstacle (a banned breed, too little time, age), we tell you straight away.
-
Timeline and itemised quote Then you decide, with no obligation.
You receive a dated timeline, from the first vet visit to departure day, and a quote that separates our fees from each third-party cost.
-
Preparation From a few weeks to several months, depending on the country.
Appointments with your vet, a blood sample if a titre test is required, certificates, any permits, the crate, the airline booking. Every deadline is in your client portal.
-
Departure The timeline accounts for how long each certificate stays valid.
Final documents signed within their deadlines, instructions for the day, airport drop-off (cabin or hold with you, or as cargo).
-
Arrival We stay your contact until the end.
Entry formalities, cargo clearance through a freight forwarder, then the registrations due locally. Depending on the country and availability, arrival is handled with a local partner.
What we will ask of you
- Your pet's existing documents: EU passport or health record, vaccination certificates, microchip number.
- Measurements and a photo of your pet standing, to size the crate.
- Your constraints: start date at work, lease, family flights already booked.
- Appointments with your vet on the dates in the timeline.
Everything is visible in your client portal
Steps, deadlines, documents, messages: the online portal saves you hunting for the last email or the right version of a certificate.
How far ahead?
It depends mostly on the destination. Between EU countries, a few weeks are often enough. Some countries require a rabies titre test followed by a waiting period, a permit or quarantine: allow several months. The simplest approach is to contact us as soon as your date takes shape; each destination guide gives that country's lead times.
Step one: your request
Tell us the route and about your pet. We check feasibility and send you a timeline and an itemised quote, with no obligation.
